One-Pot Lamb Mutton and Mince Curry Recipe

When rich mutton meets hearty mince in one pot, you get a curry that’s bold, comforting, and unforgettable.

This one-pot lamb, mutton, and mince curry is a true celebration of flavor. Cut up lamb pieces, rinse, and leave in a covered colander. Rinse the mince and leave it in a covered colander.

Ingredients:
Vegetable oil
Whole spices: cinnamon stick, star anise and black cardamom
2 large onions, sliced
4 large jam tomatoes, halved
Curry leaves
2 tbsp. ground ginger and garlic
3 tbsp. romborossi masala
1 tbsp. masala (homemade)
1 tbsp. coriander powder
1 tbsp. turmeric powder
Salt
25 g tomato paste
Potatoes
Double beans
Chopped coriander leaves
Method:
Add the required amount of oil to a pot. Heat oil on medium heat and add all the whole spices. Sauté and add the sliced onions. Add the salt and cook for 5-6 minutes, place the halved tomatoes and the curry leaves, and cook for 5-6 minutes or until the skin is ready to be removed. Remove the skin from the tomatoes. Gently mash up the tomatoes until well combined. Add the ground ginger and garlic, and add tomato paste. Add all spices, mix well, and cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes. Add the lamb pieces and combine well, and cook on medium to low for 10-12 minutes. Now add the mince and mix well; cook for 6-8 minutes on low heat. Add the partially cooked potatoes and the double beans. Just gently shift the curry. No water used in the curry. This curry is cooked with its own juices and slow-cooked.
The gravy is thick and super delish. There are so many ways to serve this delicious curry.
