Deliciously Indulgent Homemade Crab Cakes

Ingredients

250g crab sticks. Cut them in smaller pieces
1 small onion, finely diced
Green chilies, finely sliced
2 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
1 cup bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 tbsp. ginger and garlic paste
Salt
Freshly crushed peppercorns
Chopped coriander
Chopped mint leaves
Method:
Heat some vegetable oil in a pan. Add the diced onions and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes on medium heat. Add the sliced green chilies, sauté, and add the crushed pepper, salt, and ginger and garlic paste. Now add the crab sticks and simmer for 5 minutes on low heat. Add the mashed potato, mix well, and switch off the heat. Leave the mixture to cool completely. Add the 2 beaten eggs and mix. Now add your greens and combine well. Now add the bread crumbs and mix really well, cover, and set aside. Heat the oil and fry on medium heat. Use a fork to turn the crab cakes. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, turning twice. Use a slotted spoon to remove from the oil and place on absorbent paper. Serve with a dip of choice.
