Flavourful Methi Lagan

Simple Ingredients, Big Flavor!

This methi lagan is made with everyday ingredients

3 bunches of methi herbs. Clean herbs and soak in cold water. Rinse thoroughly and leave in a colander.

Ingredients:
1 cup milk
1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. ground ginger and garlic
1 small onion, finely chopped
Add the above ingredients and the methi herbs to a liquidizer. Liquidize until smooth consistency.
Dry ingredients:
1 cup soji (rava)
1 tsp. fine salt
1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
1 cup gram flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
Method:
To a dish, add all the dry ingredients. Use a whisk to combine. Now add the liquidized mixture. Mix well and pour into a greased pan. Sprinkle sesame seeds and bake in a preheated oven at 160 Celsius for 45 minutes or until the cake tester comes out clean. Leave to cool and transfer to a wire rack and enjoy.
