Golden Fried Hash Browns

4 medium potatoes. Peel and rinse. Grate and leave in cold water. Remove water and leave in a colander for 1 hour. Using a clean kitchen towel. Squeeze out excess water.
You will use the following:
100g butter
Ingredients
1 cup of cheese of choice (Gouda)
1/2 tsp. fine salt
1/2 tsp. crushed peppercorns
1/2 tsp. kashmiri red chili powder
3 tbsp. rice flour
2 tbsp. corn flour
Method:
To a pan, add the butter. Let the butter melt and add the grated potatoes. Mix well and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes on low heat. Remove from heat and let mixture cool completely. Combine the above ingredients. Using your hand, mix really well.
Now shape the hash browns and set them aside. Pan-fry on medium to low heat, turning twice.
Simply delicious! Crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside.
